Hello Andy,
The double lift from a full pack with no get ready is my bug-a-boo. I’ve tried several ways found in the literature and have limited success. I usually practice the methods several times and seem to get the knack only to come back to it later and find I can’t do it reliably. I just need more practice and perseverance as its a touch/feel issue.

Currently, I’m working on the Hamman count which I’ve feared for a long time after giving up. But I think I may be on the verge of mastering it! Not quite to the point where I can honestly say I can visually fool myself when performing it.

Hello Andy, interesting Vlog. A zoom talking about sleights is a great idea. With my double lift (I am left handed), but hold the pack in my right slightly beveled to the left, riffle the top right edge with my right thumb to get 2 cards corners to pop up, then pressure with the thumb pressing down forms a slight bridge at the top, it is then easy for he left fore finger to go into that gap and turn over the double, Kind regards, David
